An International Scientific Conference on the topic "Application of Modern Equipment and Methods in Improving Food and Water Security" is being held at Baku State University (BSU), organized jointly by BSU, "Bayramli Group" LLC, and Germany's "AnalytikJena" company.

In the opening ceremony of the conference, BSU's Rector Elchin Babayev stated that this important event provides an opportunity to discuss the globally relevant issues of food and water security and demonstrates the successful implementation of public-private partnerships in the country. Ensuring food and water security in Azerbaijan is one of the priorities of state policy. Large-scale reforms are being carried out in this area to implement modern technologies, align food safety standards with international requirements, and improve monitoring mechanisms. BSU, as part of these processes, contributes to the development of the country in collaboration with industry and business partners.

The Rector emphasized that the "Ekomekan" and ECOLEAD Clinics established at BSU serve the application of new approaches in the fields of food and water security, solving ecological problems, and efficient use of natural resources. "Various research on food safety is conducted at BSU, modern laboratories are being established, and special attention is paid to the preparation of young specialists. For this purpose, the latest technologies are applied in BSU's research centers. Our collaboration with 'Bayramli Group' LLC and 'AnalytikJena' company, our partners in organizing this conference, is significant in terms of sharing knowledge and implementing new technologies in food and water security. The presentations by experts from both companies on modern analytical equipment and advanced methods will provide participants with an opportunity to closely explore innovative solutions and applications in this field."

Cavid Bayramli, the founder and director of "Bayramli Group" LLC, expressed confidence that the conference, a successful example of public-private partnership, would contribute to the development of food and water security in the country and wished success to the event. He mentioned that "Bayramli Group" is engaged in the establishment, design, and supply of molecular biology laboratories in Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Central Asia, and Arab countries. The company successfully carries out projects in cooperation with various organizations, including BSU, within the framework of public-private collaboration.

During the scientific session of the conference, the regional manager of "AnalytikJena" company, Marina Mukhina, presented a report titled "AnalytikJena - Leader in Innovative Development in Analytical Equipment." Other presentations included "Atomic Absorption with Continuous Spectral Source: ContrAA Series Atomic Absorption Spectrometers. Simultaneous Background Correction and Analysis of Solid Samples," by Aynur Ömərli, an expert in analytical equipment at "Bayramli Group," and "ICP-MS and ICP-OES High-Resolution Optical Emission Spectroscopy for Analysis of Ultra-Traces of Major Components" by Oliver Büttel from "AnalytikJena."

The conference discusses the application of methods such as atomic absorption spectroscopy, ICP-MS, and TOC/TN analysis, as well as innovative approaches in areas such as food quality control, waste management, and solving ecological problems. The conference continues with scientific presentations.
