Awards presented to volunteers engaged in BSU social activities

Volunteers actively involved in the social life of Baku State University (BSU) were honored in a meeting with Alish Agamirzayev, the vice-rector for social issues, student affairs, and public relations. Agamirzayev highlighted that the volunteer movement is a key aspect of youth activities across various social fields in the country. The "BSU Volunteers" organization, a major force in the university's public life, has played a significant role in numerous international and national events, social projects, and humanitarian initiatives. This organization has been instrumental in advancing the youth policy and volunteer movement in the country. Members are actively engaged in both the social and academic aspects of university life. The vice-rector commended the volunteers for their contributions to BSU's structural departments and faculties, encouraged them to continue their efforts, and urged them to undertake new initiatives.

During the meeting, Agamirzayev also addressed questions from the volunteers. The session concluded with awards presented to outstanding volunteers who had excelled in BSU's public life and contributed significantly to events such as Graduate Day and the spring exam session of the 2023/2024 academic year.
