06-04-2024

A scientific seminar took place at the Nano Research Laboratory of the Center for Excellence in Research, Development, and Innovation of Baku State University (BSU).

Senior research scientist of the laboratory, Sevinj Nuriyeva, made presentation titled "Nanomaterials for Hybrid Solar Cells". She discussed the increasing interest in alternative energy sources, particularly in the field of solar panel production, emphasizing that the performance of such devices depends on the properties of their materials. Sevinj Nuriyeva talked about the synthesis and modification of innovative materials that meet increased requirements and possess new properties, as well as the chronology of solar cell development.

The seminar discussed the structure and optical properties of hybrid material for solar cell electrodes synthesized in the nano research laboratory. It was noted that the laboratory plans to create a multi-pass, tandem hybrid photovoltaic based on perovskite layers.
