BSU Program Prepares Students for Careers in Sustainable Development

Beginning in the 2019–2020 academic year, Baku State University is excited to announce the launch of a new bachelor's degree program in Sustainable Development Management. This innovative program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address global and local challenges related to environmental sustainability, economic development, and social equity.

Program Overview
The Sustainable Development Management program is cover a broad range of topics to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of sustainability issues. Courses include foundational subjects such as Introduction to Sustainable Development, Environmental Science and Ecology, and Principles of Economics, as well as specialized topics like Renewable Energy Systems and Sustainable Business Practices.

  • Introduction to Sustainable Development: This course explores the principles, history, and global importance of sustainable development.

  • Environmental Science and Ecology: Students examine ecosystems, biodiversity, and the impact of human activities on the environment.
