The members of Baku State University "BSU Volunteers" organization  organized an excursion to "Surakhani" ship-museum of "Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Shipping" CJSC (ASCO). During the excursion, students-young people were informed about the ship-museum and the development of shipping in Azerbaijan. Then the volunteers got acquainted with the exhibits. It should be noted that "Surakhani" ship-museum is the first tanker-type museum in the world. A number of innovative innovations have been made in the halls of the museum using the most modern technological equipment. Here, the history of the Caspian Sea, oil production in Absheron, the development of shipping, navigation tools, sea knots with a history of nearly 5000 years, and the equipment used during the operation of ships are displayed.
