An info session was held on "Get ready for the future!" which was jointly organized by the Baku State University (BSU) Career and Alumni Relations Sector and the State Employment Agencyb (DMA). Ilkin Sharifov, the senior specialist of BSU's Career and Alumni Relations sector, who opened the event with an opening speech, noted that the activity of the sector is to ensure the successful adaptation of students to the labor market, to guide them in the right career building. Ali Gurbanli, the head of the Career Planning Department of DMA, informed the students about the ways to build a successful career, distinguish between hard and soft skills, and methods of acquiring new skills. Ali Gurbanli said that in order to succeed in a career, a plan should include some features (knowing oneself well, thoroughly researching opportunities, choosing one's professional goals, preparing a specific action plan, continuously monitoring the progress). It is the mentioned characteristics that ensure career success. Numerous questions of the participants on the topic were answered during information session.
