A meeting was held between the Department of Social Work of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology of Baku State University (BSU) and the employees of the State Social Protection Fund (DSMF) within the framework of the "Education in the field of social work" project.

At the meeting, the head of the Department of Social Work of BSU, associate professor Uzeyir Shafiyev, the employees of the Department Eliza Ismayilova and Tarlan Taghiyeva, the heads of the Departments of DSMF, Eyvaz Ismayilov, Rasim Safarov and Elnur Mammadov, deputy directors of  the Departments, Lala Abdullayeva and Jafar Salmanov participated.

The main goal of the project is to inform students about the activities of the DSMF, the social reforms carried out in the country, the applied innovations, and the coordination of the activities with social work education.

Uzeyir Shafiyev, associate professor of BSU, said that cooperation with DSMF is of great importance in increasing the quality indicators of social work education, and the directions of cooperation are multifaceted. He noted that it is appropriate to hold practical master classes of DSMF employees. Cooperation opportunities were discussed at the meeting.
