In connection with the declaration of the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World," the joint ECOLEAD (Enhancing the Environment: Awareness and Law Enforcement Measures) project carried out by the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR), and Baku State University (BSU) is progressing successfully.

As part of the project, informative posters have been installed in various streets, avenues, and parks to draw public attention to environmental issues.

Last month, an afforestation campaign was held in the Yasamal district with the participation of officials and employees from the mentioned institutions, as well as BSU students.

The ECOLEAD project aims to restore green spaces damaged by environmental crimes across the country. The foundation of the project was laid with a memorandum of understanding signed at an event held in Khankendi city between the Prosecutor General's Office, MENR, and BSU, with Nakhchivan State University later joining the memorandum.
