Student admission announcement for BSU’s Faculty of Ecology and Soil Science

Baku State University’s (BSU) Faculty of Ecology and Soil Science offers student admission in three distinct fields of study. The Faculty operates five departments: Ecological Chemistry, Geographic Ecology, Bioecology, Soil Science and Real Estate Cadastre, and Safety of Life Activities. Students and postgraduates have the opportunity to conduct research at the Ecological Chemistry and Environmental Protection Research Laboratory, which operates under the university’s Research, Development, and Innovation Excellence Center.

Undergraduate programs are available in the following areas:

  1. Ecology – Graduates can work in various state and private institutions, including the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Ministry of Agriculture, SOCAR, BP, and the Food Safety Agency.
  2. Ecological Engineering – Graduates may pursue careers in environmental protection, transportation management, energy systems, oil and gas industry, waste management, agriculture, disaster management, aerospace research, and related high-profile engineering roles in both governmental and private sectors.
  3. Soil Science and Agrochemistry – Graduates can find opportunities in the Ministry of Agriculture, State Service for Property Issues, Food Safety Agency, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and various agricultural and soil analysis laboratories.

Land Management and Real Estate Cadastre graduates are prepared for roles in the State Service for Property Issues, City Planning and Architecture Committee, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Ministry of Agriculture, and numerous private firms.

Instruction at the Faculty is provided in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English.
