Students of the Faculty of Biology of Baku State University (BSU) studying water bioresources and aquaculture have had a field trip to "Azerbaijan Fish Farm", "Xilli Bayak" and "Kahf" LLCs located in Neftchala district. Trainings were held for students at Yenikend Sturgeon Breeding Farm of "Azerbaijan Fish Farm" LLC. Students got acquainted with the production process in the sturgeon complex during the experiment. They were informed that the production capacity of the sturgeon complex consists of 10 tons of sturgeon caviar, black caviar, sturgeon spawn and 200 tons of sturgeon meat. The students also visited the Neftchala Fish Feed Factory, operating in the Neftchala Industrial District under the Economic Zones Development Agency of the Ministry of Economy and belonging to "Kahf" LLC, and got acquainted with the work process and feeding methods. The production technology of fodder and methods of preparation of recipes were explained to the students at the enterprise with annual production capacity of 25,000 tons.
