The "Acta Botanica Caucasica" journal of BSU has been included in another prestigious database

Baku State University (BSU) has achieved significant success in recent times by being included in international indexing and abstracting databases. Recently, "Acta Botanica Caucasica" successfully passed the evaluation processes according to relevant criteria and has been indexed in the "ICI Journals Master List" (Index Copernicus InternationThe "Acta Botanica Caucasica" journal established byal - https://journals.indexcopernicus.com/). It is worth noting that the journal is also included in the "AGRIS" (International System for Agricultural Science and Technology) international database and is listed among the recommended scientific publications in the field of biology and agricultural sciences by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Furthermore, all published articles are assigned digital object identifiers (DOI).

The journal publishes four regular issues each year, and its electronic website (https://www.botanic.az/) has been improved in both structure and content, with an expanded archive database.

"Acta Botanica Caucasica" is an international scientific research journal that publishes original experimental data or new interpretations of existing findings. The journal covers recent research and scientific innovations in various fields of fundamental and applied botany, including anatomy, morphology, phytosociology, floristics, systematics, geobotany, plant resources, medicinal and aromatic plants, agronomy, paleobotany, taxonomy, lichenology, mycology, algology, biochemistry, biophysics, and more.

Currently, intensive efforts are underway to include the journal in other prestigious databases. The editor-in-chief of the journal is Elshad Gurbanov, the head of the Department of Botany and Plant Physiology at BSU’s Faculty of Biology, corresponding member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Biological Sciences, and Professor.
