Baku State University (BSU) and the Executive Power of Yasamal region organized a tree planting campaign dedicated to "Heydar Aliyev Year". BSU's Rector Elchin Babayev, Head of the Yasamal District Executive Authority Elshad Hasanov, Chairman of the Reclamation and Water Management Open Joint Stock Company Zaur Mikayilov, members of the "BSU Volunteers" organization, representatives of local administrations and organizations, representatives of the Yasamal municipality and the district community took part in the action.
During the action, eldar pine, cypress, acacia and other types of trees were planted, and agrotechnical care was provided to the greenery. Trees planted earlier in the area were watered and strengthened with wooden poles. The purpose of the action is to protect the environment and draw public attention to the protection of greenery.
