An awareness event titled “Say No, Save Your Life” has been organized by the Student Youth Organization of the Faculty of Geography at Baku State University.
The main purpose of the event was to raise awareness among young people about the harmful effects of drug addiction, promote a healthy lifestyle, and emphasize the importance of staying away from this dangerous habit.
Deputy Dean for Social Affairs and Student Relations of the Faculty of Geography, Goshgar Mammadov, spoke about the serious threats that drug addiction poses to society, particularly to young people. He highlighted the importance of such awareness initiatives and encouraged students to avoid harmful habits.
During the event, a video presentation demonstrating the negative impact of drug addiction on human life, health, and future prospects was shown to the participants.
At the end of the event, students performed a theatrical scene reflecting the individual and social consequences of drug addiction.
