Beginning with the 2026/2027 academic year, Baku State University (BSU) will introduce a new Master's specialization in Political Analytics and Strategic Studies at the Faculty of International Relations and Economics.

The programme is designed to prepare highly qualified professionals in the scientific analysis of political processes, strategic forecasting, decision-making mechanisms, and policy research.

As part of the curriculum, students will gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills in political analysis methods, strategic studies, data analysis, political risk assessment, public policy and international affairs analysis, public opinion research, and political forecasting.

The primary objective of the programme is to educate specialists capable of objectively analysing political developments, preparing evidence-based analytical reports, and contributing to strategic decision-making through scientific research and policy analysis.

Graduates will be qualified to pursue careers in government institutions, think tanks, international organizations, research institutes, media organizations, and other institutions involved in political analysis and strategic research.

The new specialization is expected to strengthen scientific capacity in political analytics and strategic studies, promote the development of modern analytical approaches, and support the training of highly skilled policy and research professionals.
