Baku State University (BSU) is participating in the Azerbaijan Pavilion organized as part of the QS Higher Ed Summit: Europe 2026, held in Budapest, Hungary.

Recognized as one of the world's leading international platforms for higher education, the summit brings together university leaders, government officials, higher education experts, and representatives of international organizations from across the globe. Discussions focus on key issues shaping the future of higher education, including internationalization, scientific research, innovation, the application of artificial intelligence in education, university–industry collaboration, and global university rankings.

The Azerbaijan Pavilion serves as an important platform for promoting the country's higher education system internationally, showcasing the educational and research capabilities of Azerbaijani universities, establishing new academic partnerships, and expanding opportunities for international cooperation.

At the pavilion, BSU is presenting its academic programs, research achievements, international projects, innovation ecosystem, and recent accomplishments in global university rankings to an international audience through various formats. During the event, BSU representatives are also holding meetings with universities, international organizations, and higher education partners to explore new avenues for cooperation. Notably, BSU strengthened its global academic standing this year by ranking 565th in the QS World University Rankings 2027.

BSU’s participation in the Azerbaijan Pavilion contributes to strengthening the university’s position within global academic networks, establishing new strategic partnerships, and enhancing its international visibility.

The meetings and discussions held within the framework of the QS Higher Ed Summit: Europe 2026 are expected to expand BSU’s international cooperation network, foster joint research initiatives, and further improve the university’s global competitiveness.
