Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

An excursion to the IDEA Animal Care Center has been organized on the initiative of members of the Faculty of Biology within the “BSU Volunteers” organization at Baku State University.

Within the framework of the excursion, the volunteers became closely acquainted with the activities of the center, the facilities established there, and the measures implemented for animal protection. Participants were provided with detailed information about the shelter areas that meet modern standards, rehabilitation opportunities, and the daily care process for animals.

The staff members of the center informed the volunteers about the protection of stray animals, monitoring their health conditions, proper nutrition, and general care procedures. The importance of responsible and humane treatment of animals, as well as public awareness on animal welfare, was also emphasized.

During the excursion, the volunteers spent time with the animals housed at the center, showed them care and affection, and gained practical knowledge about the activities carried out in the field of animal protection and welfare.
