Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

The closing ceremony of a sports tournament dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture” has been held at Baku State University. The tournament was jointly organized by the Student Trade Union Committee and the Sports and Health Center of the university.

Before the closing ceremony, the third-place winner and the finalists of the interfaculty football tournament were determined within the framework of the competition. According to the results, the Faculty of International Relations and Economics defeated the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics, securing third place in the tournament. In the final match, the Faculty of History achieved victory over the Faculty of Law.

Following the matches, the winners of the chess, checkers, and tennis tournaments organized among students, as well as the teams that placed in the top three positions in the interfaculty volleyball and football competitions, were awarded trophies, medals, and certificates.

It should be noted that nearly 300 students participated in the sports tournament across five different sports disciplines.
