On the occasion of International Earth Day, students of the KMH002i group from the English section of the Faculty of Chemistry carried out a project entitled “Let’s Protect Our Planet – Let’s Protect Our Future!”
As part of the project, students explored various environmental issues and delivered presentations in English on topics such as pollution, climate change and the growing volume of waste. Working collaboratively in groups, they prepared role-play performances and created innovative projects using recycled and waste materials.
Through posters and presentations, participants showcased their ideas and proposed practical solutions aimed at reducing environmental pollution. Their creative approaches and environmental awareness attracted significant interest from the audience.
The project contributed to the development of students’ English language proficiency, teamwork skills, creativity, and sense of social responsibility, while also encouraging greater awareness of environmental sustainability and global ecological challenges.
