Students of the “Young Talents” Lyceum affiliated with Baku State University (BSU) achieved outstanding results at the Lotfi Zadeh Mathematics and Logic Olympiad and the National Subject Competitions, earning numerous medals across different disciplines.
According to the results of the Lotfi Zadeh Mathematics and Logic Olympiad, fifth-grade students Jahid Kazimli, Eljan Kazimli, and Shamil Mammadli won gold medals. Sevda Mehdizade, Yagmur Taghiyeva, Tofiq Abdullayev, Abdurrahman Nasirov, and Tuncay Samadli received silver medals, while Ulvi Mamishzade, Tunar Mahyaddinli, Saljuq Huseynli, Arastun Farzaliyev, and Nazakat Bayramova were awarded bronze medals.
In the National Subject Competitions, the lyceum’s students secured eight medals. Seventh-grade students Mahammadali Baghirzade (Mathematics), Narmin Ismayilova (Chemistry), and Tuncay Shirinli (Biology) won gold medals. Sixth-grade student Murad Abdulla earned a silver medal in Informatics, while Zahra Yahyayeva, Aysu Safarova, Ali Amiraslanov (Mathematics, Grade 6), and Shahmar Asadov (Mathematics, Grade 7) received bronze medals.
Organized jointly by the Ministry of Science and Education and the Azerbaijan Institute of Education, the competitions aim to identify gifted students and provide them with opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in a healthy competitive environment.
Baku State University congratulates the award-winning students and wishes them continued success in their academic and competitive pursuits.
