A training session titled “Speech Therapy Correction of Autism Spectrum Disorder” has been organized by the members of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology of the Student Trade Union Committee at Baku State University.
The training was conducted by pediatrician and child development specialist Tarana Kazimova. During the session, she provided participants with detailed information about the main principles, methods, and approaches applied in speech therapy interventions for children with autism spectrum disorder.
Within the framework of the training, participants were introduced to various speech therapy tools, and their practical application was demonstrated. Students were also assigned tasks in a group-work format to strengthen their practical understanding of the discussed approaches.
The main purpose of the event was to enhance students’ theoretical knowledge in the field of autism spectrum disorder, familiarize them with contemporary speech therapy approaches, and support the development of their practical skills.
